Where To Get A Negroni Sbagliato With Prosecco In SF

Negroni Sbagliatio with Prosecco- It's the new cocktail craze that's hitting all the bars, all thanks to an interview clip between actors Emma D'Arcy and Olivia Cooke of House of The Dragon that went instantly viral on Tik Tok. The two, who play enemies Princess Rhaenyra and Queen Alicent, respectively, were playfully asking each other personal questions, and when Olivia asked Emma, "what's your drink of choice?" Emma smoothly replied, "a negroni, sbagliato... with prosecco in it." Emma's confidently alluring and sultry approach to the inquiry was immediately adored by fans across social media, the queer community (as Emma is non-binary), and beyond, and now late 2022 is seeing the rise of the era of this classic drink.

But what exactly is it? "Sbagliato" translates to a "mistake" in Italian, as the Negroni was created accidently after the typical gin was replaced with sparkling wine. The rest of the drink remains the same with sweet vermouth and Campari, so just saying "a Negroni Sbagliato" when you order already implies that there is prosecco.

Here's a list of where you can order this insanely hip drink in San Francisco so that you can stay impressively up with the trend of this current cocktail revival.
