YMCA of San Francisco’s Y For Youth Gala. The annual Y for Youth benefit took place on Friday, March 8 at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco. This event took on a global focus with special guest Carlos Madjri Sanvee, the Secretary General of the Worldwide Alliance of YMCAs. This year’s event was a gala dinner highlighting many ways the worldwide Y movement engages and empowers youth to lead change both globally and locally in their communities.
The special evening was emceed by YMCA Model UN Program Participant, 12-year-old Angelina De Dios, and included inspirational words by Chuck Collins, President and CEO of the YMCA of San Francisco, youth performances, a spirited fund-a-need and more.
